Question
In versions before 7613, there were update reports for the Inventory ROP, Inventory ABC, and Inventory EOQ reports. They were launched from a hyperlink from the equivalent list report. The hyperlink no longer exists and the uppdate reports are no longer delivered with the product.
Cause
Update reports are no longer delivered with Maximo since 7.6.1.3 and all MAS/Manage releases
Answer
The ability to update records in a report was removed due to security risks with DB access in the cloud. Since MAS and 7613 use the same Birt version (4.8), the changes were also made to the 7613 release.
The reports are still present and can be used as a source of information, but the update has to be done manually. There are currently no plans to replace this with application logic (as was done for the Asset Cost Rollup function)
