Local fix
RTC 471624 HAB
Problem summary
Users Affected: All Problem Description: SQL Server timestamp conversion exception. The adapter incorrectly relies on implicit type conversion from String to Timestamp by the JDBC driver during store operations. The issue is exposed when the date format for a locale is different from the one the adapter assumes. For example, If the date format for a locale is 'dd/mm/yyyy' and the adapter assumes 'mm/dd/yyyy,' then an SQL Exception may be thrown by the JDBC driver. Platforms affected: All
Problem conclusion
Resolution Summary: Connect:Direct Server adapter now uses the Timestamp data type internally and no longer requires implicit date/time conversion from String to Timestamp. Delivered In: 5020500_8
