  In configurations based on the default configuration file,
  "ExtendedStatus ON" is set if mod_status is loaded. The internal
  state is initialized to off.
  If mod_status is disabled, ExtendedStatus will remain OFF and
  diagnostic features in IHS (including mnod_mpmstats and %{RH}e
  logging) do not work.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was updated to default to ON.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in IBM HTTP
  Server fix packs 8.5.5.25 and 9.0.5.18. For more information, se
