Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM HTTP Server considering * * the * * AlwaysReport directive of mod_mpmstats * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When 'AlwaysReport ON' is specified, * * mod_mpmstats writes output once per * * second instead of once per * * 'ReportInterval' * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The 'AlwaysReport' directive is unfortunately named. It was intended to mean 'Report stats even when idle".
Problem conclusion
The code was updated to only consider 'AlwaysReport ON' in the check for the number of busy threads, not allowing it to overrid the ReportInterval. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in IBM HTTP Server fix pack 9.0.5.18.
