APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Trusted certificate entries in keystore get corrupted after
upgrade to v10 and the certificate is marked down state in
DataPower Gateway.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • If a customer had trusted certificate entries in the keystore
and they upgraded from v2018 to 10.0.1.11/10.0.5.3 or earlier
versions, then the trusted certificate entries in the keystore
would get corrupted. When the corrupted certificate reaches the
gateway, it is marked as down in the gateway.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The issue is fixed in 10.0.1.12/10.0.5.4 and later versions. The
certificate is correct after upgrading to v10. Customers who
already upgraded to an older version of v10 should run a script
and fix the corrupted certificates.
