Troubleshooting
Problem
This technote provides the steps necessary to collect data and logs for IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.

Diagnosing The Problem
For installation-related problems, we recommend you use the command:
waiops-mustgather.sh -O install
For general problems (unsure about the root cause), we recommend you use the command:
waiops-mustgather.sh -O general
For "AI Manager" related problems, we recommend you use the command:
waiops-mustgather.sh -O aimgr
If you want to know more about all the aliases available, you can use the command:
waiops-mustgather.sh -O .listalias
IMPORTANT: The ALIAS mode (-O xxx) is used to expand an alias into a pre-defined command. If there is a need to change or add any option, you need to revert to the conventional way of running the MustGather tool by providing all the options or flags manually. For example, if secret YAML is needed, you need to execute "-cypDfS" (plus any other options or flags).
If you want to know more about the MustGather tool and its advanced options, you can use the 'help' command:
waiops-mustgather.sh -h
Once the MustGather tool is executed successfully, upload output data file under the "/tmp/mg" (or directory of your choice through the "-o" option) directory to IBM Support website.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to uncompress the downloaded WAIOPS MustGather package in its own directory (not sharing with any other files or directories).
If you use a terminal for download, the command is:
wget https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/system/files/inline-files/waiops-mustgather-v1.22.5.tar.gz
NOTE: Download the attached script to any machine that has valid access to the target cluster (able to run 'oc' command successfully).
To upgrade the MustGather tool to its latest version:
waiops-mustgather.sh -UD
