Troubleshooting
Problem
Cognos Command Center triggers are failing and requests to port 443 aren't working.
The error message is "Remote agent not found at <environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com port 443 (https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/). Unable to connect to the remote server."
Symptom
Cognos Command Center Server log (log_server.txt) indicates "... ERROR [trigmoni] Star.SAS.Server.Controller.TriggerMonitor - Error getting triggers from <agentName>. Remote agent not found at <environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com port 443 (https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/). Unable to connect to the remote server. Star.SAS.Server.Exception.AgentException: Remote agent not found at <environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com port 443 (https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/). Unable to connect to the remote server. at Star.SAS.Server.AgentProxy.RemoteAgent.GetTriggers() ..."
Diagnosing The Problem
Trying to access the following URLs result in a bad response (The webpage cannot be found)
1. https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/
2. https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagentqueue/
1. https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagent/
2. https://<environmentName>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com:443/ccagentqueue/
Resolving The Problem
1. Stop the Cognos Command Center Services
2. Go to C:\Program Files\ibm\Cognos Command Center\Server
3. Create a copy of SccServerService.exe file with today’s timestamp
4. Uncomment the proxy section from SccServerService.exe file and add the proxy (remove the <-- and the -->)
5. Save the file
6. Go to C:\Program Files\ibm\Cognos Command Center\Common\apache-activemq-5.15.4\conf
7. Create a copy of activemq.xml with today’s timestamp
8. Remove <networkConnectors>--</networkConnectors> from activemq.xml
9. Save the file
10. Start the Cognos Command Center Services

5. Save the file

7. Create a copy of activemq.xml with today’s timestamp

10. Start the Cognos Command Center Services
