APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    
    Work order task status not updated when adding a material with
    insufficient quantity.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Go to Organizations.
    2. Select the EAGLENA organization.
    
    3. Go to the Work Order Options > Edit Rules.
    
    4. Check the boxes for columns: [WPLABOR, WPMATL] and rows:
    [APPR, INPRG, WMATL, WSCH].
    5. Click OK.
    
    6. Go to the Work Order Options > Other Organization Option and
    make sure the following options are unchecked
    
    	Ignore storeroom availability for work order status?
    	Ignore direct issue availability for work order status?
    7. Click OK
    
    8. Go to the Work Order Tracking application.
    
    9. Create a new work order record.
    
    10. Fill in required fields and the Description field.
    11. Go to the Plans tab.
    12. Click New Row under the Tasks table. Set the task
    description to testing Direct Issue.
    13. Saved the WO record.
    14. Change the WO task status to APPR.
    
    15. Click on the Materials tab.
    
    16. Add a material line.
    
    	a. Select any item in status ACTIVE.
    
    	b. Quantity set to 50.
    
    	c. Reservation Type set to Automatic.
    
    	d. Enabled the Direct Issue checkbox.
    
    	e. Set the Required Date to 1 week ahead of the current date.
    	f. Associate the material to the existing Task 1 from step 5.
    
           g. Save the record.
    
    17. Also allow time for the cron tasks -
    WOMaterialStatusUpdateCronTask and
    
    InvResResTypeUpdateCronTask to run.
    
    18. Refresh the WO record and go to the Plans tab.
    
    RESULTS:
    
    Status of tasks is still APPR.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    
    Status of tasks should have changed from APPR to WMATL.
