Custom properties added to the dsserver script of the Load
Balancer are overwritten when fixpacks are installed.

Problem conclusion

  • Custom properties can be defined in lbexecutor.conf that must
exist in the directory preceeding the Load Balancer root
installation directory. This file will not be overwritten when
fix packs are installed. The default installation on Unix
platforms is /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Edge/ULB and on Windows is
    \Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\Edge\ULB. The lbexecutor.conf
file would need to be created in the /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Edge
directory for Unix and \Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\Edge
    directory for Windows.

Each property provided must be on a separate line. A line
starting with the '#' character is considered a comment
and will not be processed. Comments can not be provided on the
    same line as a property.

Fix included in 8.5.5.25 and 9.0.5.17.
