A.Download and Install for IBM JDK 8 or Oracle JDK 8
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/java-sdk-downloads-version-80
0.unzip and copy ibm_sdk80 into C drive
1.Set JAVA_HOME
2.Run java -version
B.Testing Cognos Analytics SDK sample (Ex:CapabilitiesGUI)
Navigate to C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\analytics12\sdk\java
0.Edit build.bat file and set JAVA_HOME=C:/ibm_sdk80
If you are using sdk folder other than Cognos installation then please also need to edit Run.bat
Edit Run.bat file and set JAVA_HOME=C:/ibm_sdk80/bin/java.exe (By default: set JAVA_HOME=../../../ibm-jre/jre/bin/java.exe)
1.Execute build.bat and run.bat
2.Enter Server URL for Dispatcher
3.Enter Logon information
4.IBM Cognos Sample dialog box pop up and select Account or Role and Package
