Troubleshooting
Problem
After upgrading DOORS client to version 9.7.2.7 and starting it, the following error message is displayed.
License Error: Bad message command.
FlexNet Licensing error: -140,148
Cause
IBM License Server 8.1.6 is used.
DOORS client 9.7.2.7 requires IBM License Server 9.
The Prerequisites section of the release notes for DOORS 9.7.2.7 states the following:
Upgrading to 9.7.2.7, you must upgrade the IBM Common Licensing to version 9.
Resolving The Problem
Upgrade the license server to 9.
