Problem
The importing of a IBM Security Guardium policy definition returns the below error:
Cause
Diagnosing The Problem
The policy is being exported from a V11.3 to a V11.4, however the sniffer on V11.3 was never than that on the V11.4.
So for example on version 11.3 the sniffer bundle was p4048, however on the IBM Security Guardium appliance version 11.4 the sniffer bundle was older.
Resolving The Problem
You need to install the same or newer version of the IBM Security Guardium Sniffer bundle on the 11.4 appliance where the policy is being imported.
