APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) 10.1.2.0 on the
z/OS platform and running in Batch only, if the JCL is set to
run a map and create a binary trace (using -TIB override) it can
cause the following error:

Dynamic allocation of ddname DTXTRCE failed with error
code=410, info code=0
Map execution terminated from ./sysout.c 364

The map completes successfully when the trace option is changed
to -TI only.

The problem also occurs if a map setting for binary trace is
defined in the compiled map with no override.

created.

  • Corrected code to allow binary trace to work.

10.1.0.2, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
