Can Maximo Application Suite user password complexity be configured?
Answer
In Maximo Application Suite 8.8, minimum password length can be configured by manually creating a secret. For more information, please view our Knowledge Center documentation on this topic: Configuring the minimum password length
In Maximo Application Suite 8.9 and above, new configurable password complexity options were added such as case sensitivity and forced password changes. These can be configured by a suite administrative user within the Suite Administration user interface. For more information, see the section Configuring Password Settings on the MAS 8.9 What's new page.
