APAR status

Error description

• When using an ITX 10.1.1 map it may be noticed that adding two
  partitioned objects that are defined as number (with all sub
  components also defined as number) will result in concatenation
  instead of addition.
  

Local fix

• ITXCQ - ITX00061836

  Circumvention: A series of EITHER() functions can be used in
  the rule to check each sub-component, before using that instead
  of the parent partitioned object.

  IBM Transformation Extender users numeric partitioned groups.
  
  Problem Description:
  Failure to perform arithmetic on numeric partitioned item, acts
  as if text field and concatenates data.

Problem conclusion

• Properly handle numeric partitioned groups. Previously numeric
  partitioned groups would not be converted to numeric format. Now
   if all the sub elements of numeric partitioned group are
  numeric ITX will convert the partitioned group to numeric field.

  10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0
