Problem
This Tech Note provides solutions to known issues when using Realtime Dataset Metrics (RDM) with IBM OMEGAMON for Storage on z/OS (OMEGAMON for Storage).
Logout in single-application mode
When you are running RDM in single-application mode, refreshing the browser causes an automatic logout.

Solution: Update to Zowe version 2.8 or later. This issue affects Zowe versions 2.2 - 2.7, and is fixed in Zowe versions 2.8 and later.
Resizing plugin window
When you resize a plugin window displaying a data table, the per-page row count is not recalculated, resulting in several issues:
- Some data is not displayed even with sufficient table space
- The wrong number of pages is shown
Solution: Update to Zowe version 2.8 or later. This issue affects Zowe versions 2.2 - 2.7, and is fixed in Zowe versions 2.8 and later, except when running RDM in single-application mode. There is no solution if you are running RDM in single-application mode.
Slow application performance
Running multiple sessions of RDM in a single browser tab causes a noticeable slowdown in application performance.

Solution: Update to Zowe version 2.8 or later. This issue affects Zowe versions 2.2 - 2.7, and is fixed in Zowe versions 2.8 and later.
No auto login for duplicate session
When you run a duplicate an RDM session, you are not automatically signed into the duplicate session.

Solution: Update to Zowe version 2.10 or later. This issue affects Zowe versions 2.8 and 2.9.
Plugin loading stalls
Loading an RDM plugin on Zowe stalls when using Zowe version 2.8 and later with Firefox browser. When the RDM plugin stalls, no Login form is displayed and the plugins window becomes blurry in the browser.
Solution: When using Zowe version 2.8, use a browser other than Firefox. When using Zowe 2.10 and later with Firefox, do not run RDM in single-application mode.
