Problem
Creating a report that uses Cognos pre-defined theme results in crosstabs that span the entire page.
Cause
The report that is being used for the theme contains modified classes. Therefore, when you create a new report that uses this theme, it uses the modified classes.
New report created with a crosstab without using a theme:

Resolving The Problem
Modify the classes of the report that is specified for the theme.
Theme reports are located in the Team Content->Templates->Style Reference Reports folder.
In the example above you need to modify the Cool Blue report Crosstab table class. It is set to 100% width:
After making the changes, save the report in the same Style Reference Reports folder. Any new reports created that use this Cool Blue theme will use the modified classes.
