Error description

  • When an HA (High Availability) IPIC connection is established
    the log shows:

DFHIS2001 CICS1234 Client web session 1 from applid XXXXXXXX
                       accepted for IPCONN ABCD.
DFHIS2000 CICS1234 Server web session 1 with applid XXXXXXXX on
host xx.xxx.xx.xxx acquired for IPCONN ABCD
DFHIS2000 CICS1234 Server web session 2 with applid XXXXXXXX on
host xx.xxx.xx.xxx acquired for IPCONN ABCD

The XXXXXXXX is the APPLID that is specified in the IPCONN
definition for a HA IPIC and not the actual APPLID that the
    IPCONN is connected to.

When acquiring an IPCONN connection to a IPIC High Availability
(HA) cluster the APPLID output in messages DFHIS2000 and
DFHIS2001 is the APPLID specified in the IPCONN resource
definition. This may not be the APPLID that the IPCONN has
actually connected to within the HA cluster.

Problem conclusion

  • A new message, DFHIS2013, has been added to make it clear which
APPLID the acquired IPCONN is connected to.

The CICS TS documentation will be updated to include new message
    DFHIS2013.

date time applid IPCONN ipconn to HA cluster applid applid
acquired to applid specificapplid on host hostname resolved port
    portnumber.

    Explaination:
IPCONN ipconn was acquired successfully and is ready for use by
IP interconnectivity (IS) domain. Applid specificapplid
indicates which server applid was used in a High Availability
    (HA) configuration.

    System Action:
    Processing continues.

    User Response:
    None.
