• MS-E-RDS_NOGWERRMSG, The database or data source did not return
  an error message
  (TR1907) Transformer can't gain access to database '<dbname>'
  with signon information '<userid>'
  

Local fix

• replace length function with hard coded value in the IQD, or use
  Cognos report and DQM connection instead of IQD

Problem conclusion

• We are not able to provide code change to address this issue due
  to the complexity of it. We recommend customers to continue
  using the workaround we provided in the support ticket.
  Workaround:
  Hard coding the length in the expression allows the execution to
  go through.
