Troubleshooting


Problem

User is unable to log in to Planning Analytics for Excel.  A script error is encountered, indicating an expected character of ';'.

Resolving The Problem

  • This particular problem had been resolved after a reinstall of Microsoft Excel
  • This indicates that the problem is localized to the client/user PC
    • Attempts at clearing cache did not help
    • Browser / Excel / Registry settings reviewed did not yield any direct cause
  • If urgent and able, a reinstall of Microsoft Excel is suggested
  • Otherwise, a comparison needs to be made between a working PC and one that does not work
