  • When starting Liberty with Java 11 via JCL we are not passing in
-Xshareclasses:
2CIUSERARG               -Xshareclasses:name=liberty-%u,nonfata
l,cacheDirPerm=1000,cacheDir=/Liberty/servers/.classCache

When starting Liberty as a started task with Java 11, the
following option is not set on the server: -
Xshareclasses:name=liberty-%u,nonfata
l,cacheDirPerm=1000,cacheDir=/Liberty/servers/.classCache

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A check has been added to set the share classes option when usin
Java 11.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
