Troubleshooting
Problem
When try to connect PAfE, with usage of PAW-URL, following script error appears in Excel:
"An error has occurred in the script on this page: http://enviroment_name/cdn/pa-glass/1.02021120202/js/pa-glass.js"
After click "Yes", next script error appears:
"http://enviroment_name/?b_action=xts.run&ui.compid=ps&m=portal/close.xts&h_CAM_Action=loginAs"
Then, after next click "Yes", blue circle appears, it hangs and nothing happens anymore.
Resolving The Problem
Try following actions:
1) Clear Internet Explorer(Internet Options) cache
2) Stop Excel and then rename Office Connection folder in following path:
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Cognos\Office Connection or C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Cognos\Office Connection
3) Re-create connections in PAfE and retest
