Problem
Symptom
STEPS:
1 Connecting to the maximo environment.
2 Redownload the TECHMOBILE.
3 Downloading the files where we have the customization.
4 Replace the files from download folder to MaximoMobile/UAT/TECHMOBILE/src
5 Go to the browser and reload the APP-Configuration page.
6 Click on Publish button
RESULTS: Changes are not reflecting.
After Step 4, if we open the file from MaximoMobile/UAT/TECHMOBILE/src and edit it by just giving extra space and save it, then the changes are reflecting .
Cause
Resolving The Problem
.workspace/{user-server}/TECHMOBILE/build/src
For example, the app.xml in the
.workspace/{user-server}/TECHMOBILE/src
needs to match what's in the build folder
.workspace/{user-server}/TECHMOBILE/build/src
If the files look correct, delete the
.workspace/{user-server}/TECHMOBILE/build/src
folder , and the config tool will regenerate it. i.e. before you publish an app, delete the 'build' folder of the app in your workspace. It will pick up all the updated files that would have been copied and changes will reflect in the environment. By deleting the /build folder, this forces the app build process to regenerate, which ensures that it picks up all the files from the /src folder
