The IBM Maximo Application Suite - Visual Inspection Component Service Update version 8.9.0 was released on 26 September 2023.
Content
Service updates are included in the Maximo Visual Inspection Server and the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge subcomponents.
Maximo Visual Inspection
- Operational fixes in a CephFS environment.
- Operational fixes for loading extra large datasets in the UI.
- Add a maximum data set file limit of 1,000,000 files.
- Add default confidence threshold of 0.5 on all inference API calls.
- Remove label reference when last label annotation is removed from an image.
- Ensure that the most recently uploaded image is used for the data set thumbnail image.
- Ensure that project group item counts are consistent.
- User Interface improvements when system contains unsupported models.
- Various security vulnerabilities addressed.
Maximo Visual Inspection Edge
- Remove support for IBM PowerPC (ppc64le) based hardware.
- Improve the time trigger accuracy for video files.
- Improve memory management for Dectron2, High resolution, and Anomaly optimized models.
- Operational fixes when image inspection results in no detected objects.
- Various security vulnerabilities addressed.
