Error description
TRANSIDERR TOR-AOR-AOR in CICS 6.1
Local fix

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: TRANSIDERR when using the Enhanced * * Method of routing. * **************************************************************** When attempting to use the enhanced method of routing for terminal related START requests a TRANSIDERR occurs. The START request is not routed back to the TOR as expected, instead an attempt is made to run the transaction locally. For example: - Transaction TRA1 is run from terminal AAAA which is attached to a TOR, transaction TRA1 is defined as remote and is therefore routed to the appropriate AOR. - In the AOR the target program issues a START request for a transaction specifying the terminal that this current request is currently running at (eg: EXEC CICS START TRAN(TRA2) TERMID(AAAA)). This terminal is owned by the TOR, and the target transaction is defined as ROUTABLE(YES) so we would expect the START request to be shipped back to the TOR to be executed. - Instead an attempt it made to run the TRA2 transaction locally. The TRA2 transaction definition specifies a REMOTESYSTEM that is not the local region, because of this CICS determines that the transaction can not run locally and fails the request with TRANSIDERR.
Problem conclusion
CICS has been changed so that the transaction is routed back to the Terminal Owning Region when a Terminal related START using the enhanced method of routing is used.
