Troubleshooting


Problem

A user could be automatically logged out from Manage after several (20-30) minutes if a server bundle = all when deploying Manage. 
Error "The browser cannot connect to the server. Reload the application and try again" appearing sporadically as user is logged out from Manage.
Detailed information
When user is logged in to Manage, an error appears after several minutes. 

IF
    User choses to use server bundle type all when deploying Manage in RedHat Openshift
   
THEN
    User can be logged out after a period of time and an error appears with error message: "The Browser cannot connect to the server. Reload the application and try again" when using Manage.

Symptom

When using Manage, user will be sporadically logged out from Manage and the following error appears
"The browser cannot connect to the server. Reload the application and try again. If reloading does not solve the problem, the reason might be that you are disconnected from the network or the server might be down. Error code: 0" 
 

Cause

User Token setting code needs to be updated for server bundle type = all configuration

Environment

Manage 8.6 with server bundle type all

Diagnosing The Problem

Check the server bundle type for Manage in Maximo Application Suite. This issue happens only if the type is all

Resolving The Problem

Applying the attached customization archive when deploying Manage in Maximo Application Suite following the steps described here

Client needs to upgrade to Manage 8.6.1 version.
