IJ46393: DATETYPE SPECIFICATIONS ATTRIBUTE IS AVAILABLE TO EDIT AFTER SAVE.

APAR status

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  The new datatype of DATE was added to the specification
  attributes.
  
  When started to use it, was noticed that it behaves differently
  than ALN or NUMERIC types. If a Specification attribute of ALN
  type, then NUMERIC column is greyed out and visa versa. However,
  "Date Value" is always available for user entry.
  
  PERFORMANCE ISSUE:
  No
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1- Go to Locations application;
  2- Seach for new location or create a new one;
  3- Go to Specifications tab and Specifications section;
  4- Click in new row;
  5- Select any Attribute of ALN Data type;
  Note that the Date Value field is read-only;
  6- Save;
  Note that after save the Date Value is available to edit.
  
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
  After save the Date Value is available to edit.
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  After save the Date Value field should be read-only.
