Abstract
The IBM Maximo Application Suite - Visual Inspection Component Service Update version 8.7.1 was released on 16 May 2023. The service update contains general code and security fix updates.

Service updates are included in the Maximo Visual Inspection Server and the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge subcomponents.

- Inspection upload improvements to efficiency and performance.
- User Interface improvements to the data set summary page when the page contains many data sets.
- Add rate limitations to HTTP POST operations to improve processing of inspection upload "storms".
- Various security vulnerabilities are addressed.
