Error description

  • Problem
If you populate the Parent field in the Change or Releases
applications with a work order other than Change, Release
classes if you clear the Parent field upon saving the record
receive system message BMXAA3761E - The event has failed.



Steps To Reproduce
Go to Work Order Tracking application
Create a new Work Order

Populate the Asset field
Populate all required fields
Save and approve the work order
Take note of the work order number

Go to Releases or Change application
Create a new record

Populate the Parent field with the Work Order created
previously

Save the record
Remove the value of Parent field
Save the record

Results
You Receive system message "BMXAA3761E - The event has failed.
Ensure that the event is registered correctly. See the log file
in the APP HOME directory for more details about the error.

Expected Results
You should not receive system message after removing the parent.
