Summary
Mexico is about to stop observing the Daylight Saving Time (DST) except for the area near to the border with the United States of America. It is necessary to download and install the latest tzdata package for system synchronisation. The tzdata package contains data files required for time zone transitions around the world.
Steps
Perform the following steps to install tzdata package:
1. Apply the latest security patch(SP18) on your current release version. For more information on how to apply patches, see the following links:
2. Download the tzdata package zip file.
tar -xvf tzdata_rpms*.gz
tzdata_rpms_tar/
tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds1.x/
tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds1.x/tzdata-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm
tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds1.x/tzdata-java-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm
tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds2.x/ tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds2.x/
tzdata-2023b-1.el8.noarch.rpm tzdata_rpms_tar/cpds2.x/
tzdata-java-2023b-1.el8.noarch.rpm tzdata_rpms_tar/iias/
tzdata_rpms_tar/iias/tzdata-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm
tzdata_rpms_tar/iias/tzdata-java-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm
3. Copy the following tzdata rpm files on all nodes.

tzdata_rpms_tar/iias/tzdata-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm

tzdata_rpms_tar/iias/tzdata-java-2023b-1.el7.noarch.rpm
3. Run the following command to install the rpm files on all nodes.
rpm -Uvh tzdata-* --force
rpm -qa | grep tzdata
Output:
[root@node0101 ~]# rpm -qa | grep tzdata
tzdata-2023b-1.el7.noarch
tzdata-java-2023b-1.el7.noarch
