APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Business Console may become unresponsive and the server hit
    an OutOfMemoryError exception when importing a DT from Excel and
    saving it if the following conditions are met:
    1) the user unmerges a cell in Excel before import
    2) and the next cell to the right remains merged.
    
    This is an unexpected as users should not un-merge a cell whose
    next cell to the right is merged. But there should be some
    safeguard in the Business Console to detect this situation and
    cope with it.

Problem conclusion

  • A check has been added at import of manual row ordering tables,
    if the partitions structure is invalid rejects the import with a
    message.
