Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    After the upgrade customer has an error when trying to download
    old attachments through ICD.
    Customers using "spaces" on file name attched and before
    applying the ifix from november, customers were able to open the
    files with spaces.
    
    Customer is still not able to open some files attached in
    previous version (ICD 7.6.1.1 with Tpae 7.6.1) in this upgraded
    environment (ICD 7.6.1.4 with Tpae 7.6.1.2) e.g.
    /opt/IBM/SMP/DOCLINKS/ATTACHMENTS/Email%20%E2%80%93%20Ana%20Pau
    la%20de%20Almeida%20Vianna%20%E2%80%93%20Outlook.pdf
    
    It looks like in previous version, Maximo will replace the
    "space" with %20 but not in current version.
    
    Maximo will no longer create attachments with names like this
    example, because it now strips out certain characters. To
    reproduce the issue, you must create an attachment with any
    filename, then locate the record in the DOCINFO table and change
    the URLNAME to this example. Then also locate the physical file
    in the doclinks directory and change it's name to match.
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE
    
    To reproduce the issue, you must create an attachment with any
    filename, then locate the record in the DOCINFO table and change

    Attach a file with the '%' sign in its name to any record in
    Maximo via Add Attachments functionality (DOCLINKS).
    From the record in step 1, try to view the attachment,
