  • The WebSphere for z/OS Daemon default SSL protocol is TLSv1
This update will change the default SSL protocol to TLSv1.2

Websphere for z/OS Daemon default SSL protocol is currently
TLSv1.1 and SSLv3.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When this APAR is applied the default z/OS Daemon default SSL
protocol will be TLSv1.2 and TLSv1.3

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.24 and 9.0.5.16. For more information, see 'Recommended
