The time remained counter on One-time password input page starts very small seconds against configuration

Troubleshooting

Problem

I configure email One-time password MFA authentication on ISV console.
When I log in with user and password on ISV console, the One-time password input page was shown.
However, the Time remained counter was started from 0:10 seconds even though I configure OTP expiration time with 300 seconds.
I could not get email with One-time password before expiration.

Cause

The clock of local machine is not synchronized.
Since the "Time remained" counter is calculated by local machine clock, local machine clock has to be synchronized with time server.

Diagnosing The Problem

Check local clock synchronization.

Resolving The Problem

Synchronize local clock with time server.
