Error description
Sometimes, tag based schedule fails to backup virtual machines due to out of memory error. The output of dsmc Show Vm all command will fail with the following messages: Show All virtual machines on VMware Server. Copyright (c) 2010 Codethink Limited. Copyright (c) 2015 Canonical Limited. ANS9278E Failure processing vmList option. Local fix
If possible, disable tagging schedules and use classic schedules instead. To achieve this, set following option in the datamover dsm.opt file: vmtagdatamover no

Problem conclusion
The issue has been fixed, so IndexOutOfBounds java exception should not occurr anymore.
