APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Abend 0C4 was taken on an LLC instruction in module DFHDUTM at
    offset x'5AA'. Reg2 has been loaded with bytes of x'FF' which
    are the direct cause of the 0C4.
    .
    Backing up in the code, we can see that Reg6 was supposed to be
    loaded with the XM_TRANSACTION_TOKEN from offset x'204' into the
    TASENTRY. The TASENTRY is located at 2BB00000; there are zeroes
    at offset x'204'.
    .
    DFHDUTM goes to move the token+x'168' into the stack at offset
    x'7B0; this is where the bytes of x'FF' come from (00000168
    address).

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C4 in DFHDUTM following a LG0772 *
    *                      system dump.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    It is possible to see an abend 0C4 in DFHDUTM following a system
    dump being produced by the logger domain, for example LG0772.
    CICS is attempting to create an audit record, including a userid
     which is not available for the LG task. Instead it is accessing
    low-core and using the data found there.

    Keyword: IGVDGNPP

Problem conclusion

  • DFHDUTM has been changed to use the region userid when the task
    userid is not available.
