Abstract
Support for Internet Explorer 11 ended on 15 June 2022. This end of support date does not impact TM1 Architect, TM1 Perspectives, or Planning Analytics for Excel.

TM1 Architect, TM1 Perspectives, and Planning Analytics for Excel use an in application web browser for authentication and user management when Planning Analytics is configured for CAM authentication. The in application web browser is also used by Planning Analytics for Excel to present the cube viewer and set editor.
The end of support for Internet Explorer 11 does not impact authentication of TM1 Architect and TM1 Perspectives, and does not impact authentication and common components in Planning Analytics for Excel. These applications continue to function if Internet Explorer 11 is uninstalled or removed from the system.
Planning Analytics for Excel supports the use of WebView2 for the in browser components. Additional details about WebView2 can be found here.
