  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Calibration Points can be deleted on WAPPR status, even when
"Edit Cal Points" is unchecked for WAPPR status.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    0. Go to Organizations > Calibration Options > Edit Options and
make sure that Edit Cal Point value is not editable in
WAPPR or COMP status. Make it editable on WMATL status.
    1. Create a new Data sheet that can be used on the work order or

use an OOB DS like DS103.
    2. Create a new work order and add location to it.
    3. On the data sheet tab enter the data sheet created in step 1
    4. Save the record.

    5. Under Calibrations Points, try to delete any of the
Calibrations Points. An error message will display.

    6. Change the status to WMATL.

    7. Under Calibration Points, add a new row and fill the
    required fields.
    8. Save the record.

    9. Change the status to WAPPR.
    10. Try to delete the Calibration Point created on step 7.
    11. It gets deleted normally and no error message is displayed.
It is not possible to delete the other Calibration Points that
    were originally there.

    RESULTS:

The Calibration Point that was added after the status change can
be deleted even when the status is changed back to WAPPR. The
Calibration Points that were originally added cannot be deleted
    or modified.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

It should not be possible to delete the Calibration Point, since
the "Edit Cal Point" was unchecked for WAPPR status.

    REPORTED VERSION:

    IBM Maximo Calibration 7.6.1.0
    IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.2
