Error displays when using Assistant in IBM Cognos Analytics

Troubleshooting


Problem

You might see the following error when you try to use the AI Assistant in IBM Cognos Analytics versions 11.2.2, 11.2.3, 11.2.4, and Cloud Pak for Data.
Error displays when connecting to Assistant
This error occurs only in the following browsers:
  • Google Chrome version 110.0.5481.77 and later
  • Microsoft Edge version 110.0.1587.41 (Official build) (arm64) and later
  • Mozilla Firefox version 110 and later

Resolving The Problem

A fix will be implemented in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.2.4 FP 1 that returns full functionality to the AI Assistant. 
In the meantime, to use the Assistant in Cognos Analytics, we recommend that you use Safari or Mozilla Firefox ESR(102.8.0esr). If you are using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox, avoid upgrading your browser to the latest version until after you upgrade to Cognos Analytics 11.2.4 FP 1.
