PH52708: COBOL compiler to add variable modification data to the variable cross-reference section of DWARF data

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Lack of variable modification data in the DWARF symbol table,
  i.e. the .debug_info section, is resulting in poor performance
  using Fault Analyzer on large compile units.
  
  This APAR updates the COBOL compiler to write the required data
  to the DWARF output.
