Abstract

This fix pack is a cumulative release and addresses some new APARs and internally found issues since the release of IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact Version 7.1.0

Prerequisites

This fix pack includes all maintenance since the GA of Impact V7.1.0. This fix pack can be applied directly to the base V7.1.0 product release or any previous fix pack or interim fix level.

NOTE:

Upgrading to 7.1.0.4 is required when the Impact version to be updated is at 7.1.0.0, 7.1.0.1, 7.1.0.2, or 7.1.0.3
Before the installation or the upgrade of IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact, download the attached 7.1.0-TIV-NCI-FP0030-README file and review the section "3.0 Installation information" and associated subsections.

Add clustering information to the REST interface
The internal REST interface was updated to return information about the cluster and primary status. Querying https://hostname:9081/restui/serverinfo/clustername returns the server name, cluster name, and the name of the acting primary.

TLSv1.3 and FIPS Support
NOTE 1: The configImpactTLSv13 script is not supported on NOI 1.6.7 on the OpenShift Container Platform when run in Full Cloud Deployment
