Affected Domain
Customers running IBM Copy Services Manager (CSM) 6.3.5.0 and managing Spectrum Virtualize / FlashSystems remote copy or point in time copy sessions. This includes Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, FlashCopy and Safeguarded Copy based session types. This does NOT include Snapshot based session types.
Description
The IBM Copy Services Manager 6.3.5.0 release made a change to move to a new internal SSH client in order to pickup the latest security enhancements and fixes when communicating externally via SSH. An issue was found as part of this change, where sessions with more than 6 volumes or pairs, might fail to correctly process all of the results when the commands are issued to all the volumes or pairs in the session. This would occur when the consistency group does not already exist on the hardware, or more than 6 new volumes, pairs were added to the session that need to be created and added to the existing consistency group.
Fix
Upgrade your active and standby IBM Copy Services Manager servers to the following level or higher to avoid the issue.

Recommendation
It is highly recommended that all customers running IBM Copy Services Manager 6.3.5.0 to manage relationships for Spectrum Virtualize / FlashSystems storage, move to the 6.3.5.1 release or higher to avoid hitting the issue.
