Abstract

This document provides information about downloading and installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.9.1-IBM-MAS-FP0001 fix. This image includes the installer for the MAS 8.9.1 maintenance release.

  • Addition of the following application versions to the Maximo Application Suite UI catalog:

    • IBM Maximo Application Suite - Health and Predict - Utilities 8.5.1
    • IBM Maximo Optimizer 8.3.1
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite - Assist 8.6.1
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite - Predict 8.7.1
  • Blank page issue for Optimizer link in MAS 8.9 core Catalog page.
  • Change to keysize causes certificates to be reissued.
  • Updates FileBeat version to address security requirements.
  • DT178922 - SMTP bindings fail to instances that do not require authentication.
  • DT173577 - Requires to log in to MAS twice.
  • Adds functionality to include the Certificates tile in the Overview page, when applicable.
  • Fixes User sync UI known issue when selecting user entitlement.
  • Mongo binding constantly updated.
  • scimsync-agent is not using the new password generation feature nor the new passwordPolicy.
  • Fixes user creation known issue were entitlement requirements from catalog are not taken into consideration.
  • Installation of Health Standalone using channel sub via MAS UI can't be done.
  • Applications installation issue when selecting channel subscription with automatic approval set on off.
  • Container images security fixes.

Steps for installing 8.9.1

Installing a Maximo Application Suite fix is done in the same way that the original product was installed. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions. For this fix, however, you run the install script that was downloaded as part of the fix instead of the install.sh that came with the original product image.
