Problem
When you attempt to copy and paste non TM1 formulas between excel tabs, you notice a performance lag when the add-in is enabled. Without the add-in enabled, no lag is noticed.
Cause
You will need to check the workbook for Custom Styles. Within Excel with the workbook open, click the Home tab and look for the Styles tab. If you see a lot of Custom styles, that is the root cause for this.
Resolving The Problem
Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel uses Excel styles to format its reports. So when you have additional custom styles, it will take more time for operation to complete.
You can delete all the Custom Styles by using a Macro. This will leave only the Default styles that excel uses.
