APAR status

Error description

  • Description:
    Location Drilldown issue on the Service Request (SR) application
    when Extended Drilldown is enabled
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Login to Maximo as maxadmin
    
    2. Go to System Properties --> Filter on
    mxe.webclient.extendedDrilldown
    
    3. Change the Default value from False to True
    
    4. Select this property and do a Live Refresh
    
    The Extended Drilldown is now enabled.
    
    Scenario 1:
    
    1. Set default insert site as null (no value)
    
    2. Go to SR --> Create a new Service Request
    
    3. Enter Bedford in Site field
    
    4. Location field --> Open Drilldown
    
    RESULT:
    Nothing is displayed in the drilldown
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Maximo shows locations of Bedford (starting with Needham at the
    top)
    
    Scenario 2:
    
    1. Set default insert site as null (no value)
    
    2.Go to SR --> Create a new Service Request
    
    3. Enter Mclean in Site field
    
    4. Location field --> Open Drilldown
    
    RESULT:
    Nothing is displayed in the drilldown
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Maximo shows locations of Mclean (starting with 7900WestPark at
    the top)
    
    Scenario 3:
    
    1. Set default insert site as Bedford
    
    2. Go to SR --> Create a new Service Request
    
    3. Enter Mclean in Site field
    
    4. Location field --> Open Drilldown
    
    
    RESULT:
    Maximo shows locations of Bedford (starting with Needham at the
    top)
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Maximo shows locations of Mclean (starting with 7900WestPark at
    the top)
