IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) pattern type 1.0.22.0 for IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0.7 SP 13 is released to include support for the TLS 1.2 protocol.
IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern type 1.0.21.0 and earlier do not support the TLS 1.2 protocol.
With IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern type 1.0.21.0 or earlier, the System Monitoring portal did not start with the Java Web Start client application (Java 1.8-281 or later) when the TLS configuration was TLS 1.2.
With IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern type 1.0.22.0, users can now start the System Monitoring portal by using Java (client) 1.8-291 or later with TLS 1.2, which is enabled.
Note: IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern type 1.0.22.0 is supported on Intel-based IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.3.4 and 2.3.3.5 systems.

Deploy a fresh instance of System Monitoring by using the IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern 1.0.22.0.

Do not use the pattern update function to upgrade an existing System Monitoring instance to IBM Tivoli Monitoring pattern type 1.0.22.0.
