APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the user previously put a password in the Tenant settings in
    the public and private keys session, but now he wants to have no
    more passwords, he cannot set the password to null just saving
    the password field as blank.
    
    The technical team will adjust this behavior. So that whenever
    the field is blank, it does not require a password.
    

Local fix

  • Workaround:
    The workaround to resolve the problem is to write something in
    the "New Password" field and then erase it, before saving the
    settings made to the public and private keys. This will cause
    the "Password" value to be removed from the database.
