How many managed units (MU) are recommended to report to a Guardium Central Manager (CM)?
Answer
There is no hardcoded limit for the number of MUs reporting to a CM.
Based on experience the recommendation is not more than ~150.
Even with high RAM and CPU, after 150-170 MUs issues start to appear with CM performance. For example, in areas like:
- CM redundancy, moving between primary and backup CMs
- Enterprise load balancing
