Troubleshooting


Problem

After loading the Planning Analytics for Excel Add-in, a prompt with the following message pops up.
"The file format and extension of IBM_PAfE_x64_2.0.82.5.xll don’t match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe."

When click "yes" to proceed, Excel shows "This Program cannot be run in DOS mode".

Resolving The Problem

Planning Analytics for Excel 64 bit works ONLY with 64bit Excel; likewise, Planning Analytics for Excel 32bit requires 32bit Excel.
