Why is the Guardium Vulnerability Assessment GUI not showing all database tests? It's only showing SAP HANA when 'Configure Test' is opened.
Cause
Reproducing the issue:
With the Vulnerability Assessment Standard license and the DAM Advanced license installed, the appliance GUI used to configure assessment tests is showing all the supported DBs.
Once the "IBM Security Guardium Data Protection for SAP HANA" license is applied, all other Vulnerability Assessment supported DBs are no longer displayed.
This is also reproduced by overlapping the licenses by installing the base license, then SAP HANA license, followed by the standard Vulnerability Assessment license. Once the SAP HANA license gets installed, it removes all the standard VA features.
Issue: Licenses for VA, DAM, and/or FAM cannot be used together with the SAP HANA license.
There is no reason to install the SAP Hana license if there's already a full license installed.
The Vulnerability Assessment user interface restricts the SAP Hana datasource only which is logical.
This is not a bug. When having SAP HANA license, we only display the SAP HANA tab in the test configuration screen of security assessment.
